{"id":2716,"date":"2017-03-13T13:20:44","date_gmt":"2017-03-13T17:20:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/transcourt.com\/?p=2716"},"modified":"2025-06-24T14:28:39","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T18:28:39","slug":"president-trump-to-have-a-positive-impact-on-trucking-industry-ata-president-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/transcourt.com\/fr\/2017\/03\/president-trump-to-have-a-positive-impact-on-trucking-industry-ata-president-says\/","title":{"rendered":"President Trump to have a positive impact on trucking industry, ATA president says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>American Trucking Associations (ATA) president and CEO Chris Spear announced that he wants to be a partner to the newly-elected Donald Trump administration.<\/p>\n<p>In his announcement, Spear said Trump has potential to empower the trucking industry, creating an environment that will allow us to step up, to lead and not follow.<\/p>\n<p>The trucking industry shouldn\u2019t worry about President Trump\u2019s tweets, but focus on his actual policies, Spear said.<\/p>\n<p>Trump has proposed to put $1-trillion toward infrastructure, which has not happened since the Eisenhower administration.<\/p>\n<p>The industry is embracing a new chapter, and as such, will capitalize on the technology that exists.
